Shop Policies & FAQs

Children Policy (in-shop)

We do not allow any children under the age of 18 in the shop. This is for their safety – a tattoo parlor is not a safe place for children, and you can not properly supervise them during your appointment. If you bring children to the shop you will be asked to reschedule. Please ensure you have appropriate, safe childcare off site before making your appointment.

Tattoos on Minors

It is illegal in the state of Minnesota to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. We can not and will not tattoo anyone who has not reached the age of 18 on or before their appointment. All clients must provide proof of age and identification prior to their appointment.

Piercing & Tattoo Removal

We do not provide piercing or tattoo removal services.

Deposit Policy

A deposit is good only for the tattoo quoted and for which you were scheduled an appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable, non-transferable and are required on all appointments. Failure to submit a deposit within 48 hours of receiving a deposit request will result in cancellation of your appointment. The amount of the deposit required is determined on an individual basis and goes towards the artists hourly rate for producing your artwork and discussing your tattoo and appointment.

Your deposit will be deducted from the final price of your session. In the event of multiple session tattoos, the deposit will be applied to your final payment.

The Lacquered Dagger requires 72 hour notice prior to your appointment for rescheduling. Requests to reschedule with adequate notice will be honored once. Failure to attend your new appointment will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit. Rescheduling without adequate notice may result in the loss of a portion of, or in some cases, all of your deposit. Deposits will be considered forfeit on all no-shows. If you’d like to reschedule after a no-show or late cancellation you will need to contact your artist directly to discuss placing a new deposit prior to making any further appointments.
